NYC May Be Snobby, But Greenwood Park Helps Keeps Us Grounded
Travel+Leisure recently released their top 20 list of snobbiest cities in America, awarding NYC with the number two spot. Despite an apparent penchant for “dressing to the nines,” and rocking some stiletto heels in the Meatpacking District, we can breathe a sigh of relief, because the good folks at Greenwood Park (555 7th Avenue, between 19th and 20th Street) are working to keep our feet on the ground.
The local beer garden was highlighted in the roundup as the place to go for an alternative version of cool, with a “laid-back, off-the-grid feel.” No stilettos required for entry.
