NY Mag Showcases 3 5th Ave Favorites in Barhopper’s Playbook
We already know how fabulous our 5th Avenue watering holes are, but it appears that the outside world (well, the neighborhoods outside of South Slope) are taking notice, too. The Owl Farm (297 9th St, between 4th and 5th Ave), The Monro Pub (481 5th Ave, between 11th and 12th), and Prospect (545 5th Ave, between 14th and 15th) were recently featured in New York Magazine’s Barhopper’s Playbook, part of their Where to Drink in 2013 series.
The magazine recommends starting your night off at Prospect, taking full advantage of a pint and the pinball machines at The Owl Farm, and finishing things off with a little bit of Monro.

PS, NY Magazine: The Monro is a Liverpool pub, not an Irish one.
