You might want to avoid the N/Q/R lines for a bit. After a major water main break near Broadway and E. 23rd Street, the Flatiron District has turned into a giant river, reportedly flooding nearby basements and subway stations. From the MTA:

There is no

trains in both directions between DeKalb Av Station and 57 St-7Av Station.

There is no

trains in both directions between Queens Plaza Station and Whitehall Street Station.

Both directions

trains are running on the

line between 36 St Station (Qns) and 34 St-Herald Sq Station, then run on the

line in both directions between 34 St-Herald Sq Station and DeKalb Av Station.

Allow additional travel time.

UPDATE: 5:18pm:

Due to a water condition at 23 St Station:

trains are operating in 2 sections between Astoria-Ditmars Blvd Station and Lexington Av Station then between Coney Island-Stillwell Av Station and Whitehall St Station.

trains are operating between Canal St Station and Coney Island-Stillwell Av Station.

trains are running on the

line in both directions between 36 St Station (Qns) and 47-50 Sts/Rockefeller Ctr, then run on the

line in both directions between and 47-50 Sts/Rockefeller Station and DeKalb Av Station.
