Now Closed: Le Petit Bakery

It’s the end of a scrumptious era–Myrtle Avenue café Le Petit Bakery posted this note today via Facebook to let neighbors know about their immediate closing, the circumstances surrounding which Chef Chris Sanchez and mother Susan Tenteromano say are out of their control.

Chef Chris and Susan opened Le Petit Bakery in 2012, and built up a following through their wildly popular squats (square, cronut-ish confections that often sold out before lunchtime), friendly service, and family feel.

“It’s been a privilege being a part of the Fort Greene family and we thank you all,” says Chris and Susan’s note.

We thank you, too! And best of luck in your future endeavors, which we can only hope will one day bring you back to the neighborhood with more incredible sweets.
