No Parking On Flatbush Near Barclays 7am-1pm Tuesday

If you need to park in the area tomorrow, avoid the blocks around Barclays, as parking will be restricted for a period of time.

On Tuesday, March 17, the Barclays Center is hosting a “private memorial service,” according to the Barclays community affairs office, and buses that are transporting guests will be allocated parking nearby. No parking will be allowed on either side of Flatbush Avenue between Atlantic and 8th Avenues from 7am-1pm.

The Atlantic Yards Report tracked down the event, which is not listed on the Barclays calendar — looks like it will be a large gathering of Orthodox women who will commemorate Sara Schenirer, founder of the Bais Yaakov movement, which are religious schools for girls.
