With temperatures still below freezing and expected to stay that way for at least a few more days, it’s the worst time for the heat to go out. Unfortunately that’s what our neighbors in the 45-unit building at 377 Ocean Parkway, between Avenue C and Cortelyou Road, are dealing with.
NY1 reports that the building’s heat and hot water went out on Tuesday night, and they’ve been off ever since. Neighbors are bundled up in multiple layers as they wait to hear back from the building’s management.
If your building’s heat goes off, and your landlord is not doing anything to get it fixed, contact 311. And if you need someplace to warm up in the meantime, here are some warming centers in the area.
