F Train Gets Wonky On The Lower East Side, No G Between Metropolitan & Bedford-Nostrand, And Other Subway Changes This Weekend
This weekend, there are, thankfully, no scheduled changes in our neck of the woods – but there are changes to look out for if you’re taking the F into Manhattan or the G further up the line. Details via the MTA:
Starting Thursday:
No F trains at Broadway-Lafayette Street, 2 Avenue, Delancey Street, East Broadway, and York Street
Late nights, 10pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, November 10-14
F trains run via the A in both directions between W 4th Street and Jay Street-MetroTech. Free shuttle buses operate along two routes: one, between Broadway-Lafayette Street and East Broadway, stopping at 2 Avenue and Delancey Street and two, between York Street and Jay Street-MetroTech. No G trains between Metropolitan Avenue and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues
Late nights, 10:30pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, November 10-14
Free shuttle buses provide alternate service. G service operates in two sections: one, every 20 minutes between Court Square and Metropolitan Avenue and two, every 15 minutes between Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and Church Avenue. The free shuttle buses will make all the stops between Metropolitan and Bedford-Nostrand. Transfer between trains and buses at Metropolitan Avenue or Bedford-Nostrand Avenues. Starting Friday:
Jamaica-bound F trains run via the M from 47-50 Streets to Roosevelt Avenue
Weekend, 9:45pm Friday to 5am Monday, November 14-17
No Jamaica-bound service at 57 Street, Lexington Avenue/63 Street, Roosevelt Island, and 21 Street-Queensbridge. For more information about travel alternatives, go here.
