Next 440 Gallery Exhibition, Finding The Root, Opens Feb. 27
Artist Ellen Chuse will introduce her fourth exhibition, Finding the Root, at 440 Gallery on Thursday, February 27. The paintings, charcoal, and chalk drawings span 30 years of her career, and “reflect her engagement with nature and landscape in ways both abstract and representational but always personal.”
In addition to an opening reception, scheduled for Friday, February 28, from 6pm to 9pm, be sure to visit the 440 Gallery website for soon-to-be-announced details on a hands-on children’s workshop and theatrical performance related to the exhibition.
The current show, New Drawings: Mexico And New York City, runs through February 23, so if you haven’t had a chance, there are still a few days to stop by the gallery and check it out.
440 Gallery is located at 440 6th Avenue, between 9th and 10th Streets. Hours are Thursday and Friday, 4pm to 7pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 11am to 7pm.
