New Sketch Comedy Show ‘Friends Of The People’ To Film On 5th Avenue
The new sketch-comedy TV show Friends of the People will be filming in our area on Thursday, May 8 beginning at 6am.
The show, which will be a mix of scripted sketches and man-on-the-street bits according to Deadline, will feature comedians Kevin Barnett, Jennifer Bartels, Jermaine Fowler, Lil Rel Howery, The Lucas Bros., and Josh Rabinowitz. It represents a shift for its home network, Tru-TV, which typically shows, well, true-life programming.
No parking signs are up in front of JJ Byrne Playground on 5th Avenue between 3rd and 4th Streets, and they note that cars should be moved by Wednesday, May 7 at 5pm. If you find your car has been relocated, contact Chris at 347-327-4980.
