New Salon, Nailbed, Now Open In Former Royal Video Space On Flatbush

Flatbush Avenue’s newest nail salon is now open, and the space looks quite a bit different from the last time you might have stepped inside. The former Royal Video store was renovated, and Nailbed is now offering manicures, pedicures, and more at 317 Flatbush Ave.

The new space is clean and sleek, and seems like a pretty relaxing spot just a few steps from the 7th Avenue subway stop. Some pricing examples: a basic manicure is $18, basic pedicure is $28, waxing is $12 for eyebrows and $30 for bikini, and a 15-minute mini massage of legs and feet is $24. Waxing and gel and acrylic work on nails is by appointment only.

There are already a couple of nail salons nearby on Flatbush Ave — Meet 2 and Seven Color — and it seems people are pretty positive about Meet 2, at least. Do any of you use those ones? Or have you stopped by Nailbed yet? What are your impressions?
