New Restaurant Coming To Former Kinderstuff Space On Flatbush Avenue

A handwritten sign that says ‘Satou’s Soul Palace’ has been hanging in the window of 272 Flatbush Avenue, the former location of Kinderstuff Daycare, for a little while now, but Department of Buildings permits recently joined the sign, clarifying a bit.

According to the permits, it looks like the business — which registered with the state back in March — will be renovating the space to accommodate an eating and drinking establishment.

It’ll join other food spots on the block including Brooklyn Crepe & Juice right next door and the newly opened Red Mango, and it’s just up the block from the still-in-limbo Kemistry. And that’s just one block — there are a number of other developments coming soon to Flatbush Avenue, as well.

We’ll let you know when we learn more about this new one, but if you hear anything about this or any other comings and goings around Park Slope, contact us at editor@bklyner.com.
