New Restaurant Coming To Bistro 915 Space

We heard some rumors that the people who run the Fishing Shrimp food truck might have found a brick & mortar location in the neighborhood. Turns out the rumor is only partially true.

Odeis Stephenson, a former partner in Fishing Shrimp (no word on what caused the split), confirmed that he’ll be opening a new restaurant at 915 Cortelyou Road between E 9th St. and Coney Island Ave., which housed Bistro 915 until this past fall. Odeis writes:

I did secure a spot on cortelyou rd and have high hopes of opening before the summer. I am now just going through most of the processing. The name is Brooklyn Belly NY. Our twitter is the only thing we have set up live at the moment and it’s the best way to keep the neighborhood updated. Find us on twitter @bkbelly.

We’re waiting to hear back from Odeis about what kind of restaurant it’ll be. In the meantime, let’s start the speculation!
