New Residential Building Looking For Renters On 4th Avenue
603 Fourth, which began construction in the fall of 2012, celebrated its grand opening on December 2, and is on the lookout for their first tenants.
The luxury building, located on 4th Avenue, between 17th and 18th Streets, houses six apartments (one and two bedrooms) ranging in price from $1,700 to $2,800 per month.
The building’s 1,600 square foot commercial space, which according to LoopNet is going for $50 per square foot/per year, is also available on the ground floor.
The Ideal Properties website notes that all apartments feature oversized windows, hardwood floors, and most have private outdoor space.
For those that don’t have private outdoor space, though, there is a common roof deck that will offer a fantastic seat the next time there are fireworks near the Statue of Liberty!
From a neighborhood standpoint, the building is in a pretty stellar location. You’re steps away from the R train at Prospect Avenue, Earth’s Basket Grocery (599 4th Avenue) is right next door, it’s one building over from Supercollider (609 4th Avenue), and only one block away from Freddy’s (627 5th Avenue), South (629 5th Avenue), and Has Beans (620 5th Avenue). Best of all, for those of you with kids, the building is zoned for P.S. 295, who among other things, rocks a pretty impressive famers market.
