A new Peruvian rotisserie chicken joint named El Pollo III has set up shop at 8603 18th Avenue, just off of 86th Street.

WhereYouEat.com writes:

The Private Owned ‘Peruvian Roasted Chicken’, El Pollo opens up it’s third location in the Bensonhurst/Bath Beach section of Brooklyn.  The restaurant serves Spanish Style appetizers such as Yuca Frita, Papa Rellena, Empanadas.  Soups such as Shrimps, Clams, Mussels, Crabmeat and Calamari go for $13.  A wide selection of Salads and Whole Rotisserie Chicken is found on the starters section of the menu.
Entree’s and Peruvian dishes give local residents a new cuisine options.  Seafood Dishes, Lomo Saltado, Jalea, Cau Cau Con, BBQ Ribs, Pepper Steak and Fish of the Day cooked Peruvian Style can all be ordered at El Pollo III.

Of course, it’s not the first Peruvian chicken place in the area. We were delighted to stumble upon La Granja Peruana back in April. But – it’s Peruvian food! Widely considered to be one of the best and most diverse cuisines in the world, with influences from China, France, Italy, Spain and native cooking, it’s the more the merrier when it comes to comida Peruana.

Welcome to the neighborhood, El Pollo. Looking forward to stopping in.
