New Pay-O-Matic Money Center Opening On 5th Avenue

Thanks to the 5th Avenue BID for noticing that the signage is up at the new Pay-O-Matic Money Center opening at 582 5th Avenue near 16th Street.

Pay-O-Matic is associated with Western Union and offers check cashing, money orders, money transfers and prepaid services, including prepaid debit cards and prepaid phone cards. They also sell lottery tickets, metrocards, and stamps and offer fax services.

This space has been empty for a long time, so it’s good to see something moving in. What do you think?
