If you ever head down the hill with the kids to enjoy the Vanderbilt Street playground in Prospect Park, you might want to make note of the new cafe set to open this Friday in the former Juice Pedaler space.

ELK, from the owner of Lark Café in Ditmas Park, is opening at 154 Prospect Park Southwest on Friday, January 23. In addition to coffee from Stumptown, sweets from Colson Patisserie, Four & Twenty Blackbirds, and others, you’ll be able to grab exclusive sandwiches from Brancaccios Food Shop (which celebrates its fifth anniversary in Windsor Terrace today).

Also look out for a lineup of events for both kids and adults.

Check out the full details on our sister site, Ditmas Park Corner.
