Neighbors Celebrate Spring At PS 124’s Festival

13th Street was the place to be on Saturday as PS 124 pulled out all the stops for their annual spring festival.

The school’s dance troupe took the stage early in the afternoon to perform two student-choreographed numbers.

Afterward, Councilmember Brad Lander came out to congratulate the girls, and the school, on a fantastic year.

Martial arts students were flying high in the street when Amerikick (14th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues) showed off their moves.

Of course the bounce houses were hopping throughout the afternoon.

And toes were tapping when the magnificent Trummytones rocked the schoolyard.
