Photo by Alex Kritsky, of Midwood Productions
As Steven Spielberg’s Cold War-era film “St. James Place,” starring Tom Hanks, continues to film in our neighborhood, readers have been sending us great photos they’ve snapped at the set. Here are some of the photos, and if you’d like to share more, feel free to email us at editor@ditmasparkcorner.com!
Photographer Alex Kritsky told us that Steven Spielberg came over to him, and other photographers, at the set and shook hands with them. Photographed are, from left to right, Todd Maisel of the Daily News, Steven Spielberg, Alex Kritsky, and Paul Martinka of the New York Post.

The movie, which is based on the true story of James Donovan, an attorney who negotiated with the Russian government for the release of a captured spy pilot, Francis Gary Powers, is scheduled to continue shooting in our neighborhood today and tomorrow. Have you gone to seen the filming, or do you live around there? What do you think of it?
And, again, many thanks to our readers for sending in so many wonderful photos!
