Neighborhood Subway Lines Looking Good This Week

It’s the first full week of 2014, and the subway lines aren’t looking too shabby in our neck of the woods. Just watch out for some Frastrak work on the G later this week. As an added bonus, alternate side parking is once again suspended across the city to facilitate snow removal. Meters are still in effect, though, so be sure to pay the Muni.

No G trains between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Church Av
Free shuttle buses and A and F trains provide alternate service
Late Nights, 10 PM to 5 AM, Wed to Fri, Jan 8 – 10

G service operates between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs. Free shuttle buses make all stops between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Hoyt-Schermerhorn, connecting with the F at Jay St-MetroTech. F trains make all G stops between Bergen St and Church Av.

N trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal St and DeKalb Av
Late nights, all times until October 2014
R shuttle service operates between 95 and 36 Sts, Brooklyn.

No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
All times until October 2014
R service operates in two sections: Between 71 Av, Queens and Whitehall St, Manhattan; and between 95 St, Bay Ridge and Court St, downtown Brooklyn.
