Neighborhood Favorites Make Top Ten List Of NYC Bagel Shops

Not only is South Slope home to some of the best bars in NYC, we’re within walking distance of two of the city’s top bagel shops, according to a new list from Gothamist.

Bagel Hole (7th Avenue, between 12th and 13th Street), who Mayor de Blasio and a number of readers in our September 2013 poll declared to be best of the best, and Terrace Bagels (Prospect Park West between 16th Street and Windsor Place) scored spots in Gothamist’s top ten list, published on Wednesday.

Of course, best bagel discussions are prone to controversy in this city, so let’s get debating. What separates Bagel Hole and Terrace Bagels from the rest? If your favorite didn’t make the cut, who would you have added and why?
