Neighbor Searching For Owner Of Cat Found Near Lakeside In Prospect Park

An incredibly sweet and affectionate cat was found on bridle path, near Prospect Park’s Lakeside, on June 24, and our neighbor, Sonia Ajwani, let us know she’s fostering the adorable lady until they can find the owner — or a new permanent home if the owner doesn’t come forward.

According to a passerby, the cat had been in that area for more than a week without moving very far, Sonia said. She’s about two to three years old and has a gorgeous tortoiseshell and orang tabby coat. The sweet gal is super easygoing and a loving lapcat.

Sonia let us know that she had the cat check out at Alison Animal Hospital and found that she’s already spayed, FIV-negative and has had all of her vaccinations. However, there’s no microchip.
