Neighbor Michaela Anne on BTR
Local musician Michaela Anne was recently on BreakThru Radio’s web series called BTR Live Studio. It features her “not exclusively country, country band” playing some songs live in their SoHo studio and talking about her music with BTR host Maia. And what are those songs about these days?
“I’m for some reason writing a lot of infidelity songs,” she says in the interview. “It’s awkward when you’ve been with your boyfriend for five years, but he luckily is an understanding musician and knows not everything is a diary story.”
If you missed her live performance last week at The Castello Plan, you’ll have another chance to see her nearby–in Brooklyn, anyway–when she plays The Rock Shop in Park Slope on Thursday, October 4.
