Naidre’s Serves Good Eats In A Neighborly Space On 7th Ave

Get to know a bit of the history of Naidre’s (384 7th Avenue, between 11th and 12th Street) over on South Slope News today, where they speak with owner Janice Pullicino about the cafe that’s now in its 13th year. She explains that she took over from the original owner, for whom the space is named, six years ago:

I didn’t change the name as it already had 7 years of recognition in the neighborhood, and it’s kind of fun to see how many different ways people try to pronounce it. After all this time, I don’t see how we could call it anything else.
