Development on the west end of Myrtle Avenue that borders Downtown Brooklyn continues apace, with The Real Deal reporting that $155 million in financing has been secured for one of for four buildings planned for between Fleet Place and Navy Street.

The 32-story apartment building at 86 Fleet Place — and adjacent developments at 81 Fleet, 180 Myrtle and 218 Myrtle — are the project of former mayoral candidate John Catsimatidis and his Red Apple Group. Retail space, including a supermarket, are planned for the block — which sits across from the Ingersoll Houses and across the street from MetroTech.
