It’s official, South Slope, the MTA has approved a fare hike for next year that’s going to bump your single ride Metrocard up to $2.50, a 7-day card to $30, and a 30-day unlimited ride card to $112. Additionally, there will be a $1 replacement fee anytime you purchase a new Metrocard.
The new fares will go into effect March 2013.
