MTA Bus Hits Pedestrian, Drags Him Down Kings Highway

An MTA bus struck a pedestrian on Kings Highway near East 18th Street yesterday afternoon, dragging him a short distance and leaving him seriously injured.

News 12 reports that the accident, which took place around 3pm, involved a B82 bus hitting a man in his 30s as he was crossing the street.

Passengers told the outlet that he was pinned beneath the bus. Authorities said he was in stable condition, but could lose a leg.

The accident is under investigation.
