A motorcyclist was killed in a collision early Saturday morning around 1am near Park Circle and Parkside Avenue, according to police.

Police responded to the a 911 call on Saturday, September 12 around 1:14am and discovered an unconscious and unresponsive man in the middle of the road near Park Circle. EMS transported him to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The 29-year-old motorcyclist, Dexter Walters, was riding westbound on Parkside Avenue and tried to ride between a moving van and parked vehicles, but struck several parked cars and the van and was thrown from the bike, said police.

The driver of the van stayed on the scene and the investigation is ongoing by the Collision Investigation Squad.
