Motorcyclist Killed In Bushwick
BUSHWICK – A collision early this morning on Broadway left a Brooklyn motorcyclist dead.
Police responded to a 911 call about a motorcycle accident at Broadway and Arion Place at 2:47 am, finding Habib Doukoure lying unconscious in the roadway. EMS transported the 30-year old Bed-Stuy resident to Woodhull Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased, said police.
A preliminary investigation shows that Doukoure was traveling northbound on Broadway when he lost control of his motorcycle, striking a truck making a left turn onto Arion Place from the southbound lane of Broadway, said police.
The operator of the truck remained on scene, police said. An investigation is being conducted by the NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad.
