I mean, just look at that. I can’t take much more of it…

  1. Maybe these Richard Julian lyrics will help to alleviate your desPONDency:
Just when you all but lost your mindIt’s gonna hit you from behind
Spring is just around the corner…

  2. Well, I don’t know how old you all are, or how long you have lived in Brooklyn, but this is how Winter always was when I was growing up. We had snow and freezing temps starting in November. This is not a polar vortex, or whatever. It’s freaking Winter.

  3. I’m 38, and I have lived here my entire life. That said, I find that there are some winters that are just more relentlessly annoying that other winters. This is one of them. Last year I got by winter, easy peasy. The year before too, being stuck on a train for 10 hours during the Boxing Day Blizzard and having to walk home two miles in 26 inches of snow notwithstanding. This year, it’s just plain aggravating…too many storms in too short a time, not allowing the accumulation from previous storms to melt before the next one comes.

  4. I am gratified that the Q and B have been running mostly on schedule every day. My great nightmare is being stranded at Prospect Park because the snow topped the third rail That happened to me about 30 years ago, give or take. I made it home by foot and Ocean avenue bus. But I was so much younger then, I’m older than that now.

  5. I can take the snow, What I can’t take is the crime in this city. At least the snow doesn’t go out of its way to deliberately hurt you.
