The Monday Is Strong With These Subway Service Disruptions

Below you’ll find Fort Greene and Clinton Hill subway changes this week on the 2, 3, 4, 5, A, B, C, D, G, N, Q, and R lines in Brooklyn, plus the Franklin Avenue shuttle. Check back later this week to see what’s happening this weekend. Changes via MTA.info.

2 Line

No 2 trains between Chambers Street and Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center. The 4, A, N & Q trains provide alternate service.
Late nights, 11:45pm, Monday, June 29 to 5am, Thursday, July 2.
2 train service operates in two sections:
  • Between 241st Street and Chambers Street, and via the 1 train to/from Rector Street. Trains run local in both directions between 96th Street and Chambers Street.
  • Between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and Flatbush Avenue. Trains from Flatbush Avenue skip Eastern Parkway, Grand Army Plaza and Bergen Street.

Travel Alternatives
For Clark Street, Borough Hall, Hoyt Street and Nevins Street, use the nearby 4, A or R stations instead.
For Eastern Parkway, Grand Army Plaza and Bergen Street, take the 4 instead. Transfer at Franklin Avenue or Atlantic Avenue.

3 Line

Rockaway Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue 3 train stations are closed for renovation.
All times, until late September 2015.
Trains skip Rockaway and Van Siclen avenues in both directions.
To get to Rockaway Avenue, use the Saratoga Avenue or Junius Street stations instead.
To get to Van Siclen Avenue, use the Pennsylvania Avenue or New Lots Avenue stations instead.

4 Line

Rockaway Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue 4 train stations are closed for renovation.
All times, until late September 2015.
Trains skip Rockaway and Van Siclen avenues in both directions.
To get to Rockaway Avenue, use the Saratoga Avenue or Junius Street stations instead.
To get to Van Siclen Avenue, use the Pennsylvania Avenue or New Lots Avenue stations instead.

A Line

Ozone Park/Far Rockaway-bound A trains run express from Hoyt-Schermerhorn to Utica Avenue.
Late nights, 11:45pm, Monday, June 29 to 5am Thursday, July 2.
Trains stop at Nostrand Avenue. For service to Lafayette, Clinton-Washington, Franklin and Kingston-Throop avenues, take the A train to Utica Avenue and transfer to an Inwood-bound A.
For service from these stations, take the A train to Hoyt-Schermerhorn and transfer to an Ozone Park/Far Rockaway-bound A.

B Line

145th Street-bound B trains run local from Kings Highway to Prospect Park.
Days, 9:45am to 3pm, Wednesdays to Fridays, until July 2.
Please allow additional travel time. Service change ends on a Thursday.

Q Line

Coney Island-bound Q trains run express from Prospect Park to Kings Highway.
Days, 9:45am to 3pm, Wednesdays to Fridays, until July 2.
Trains stop at Church Avenue and Newkirk Plaza. For service to Parkside Avenue, Beverley Road, Cortelyou Road, Avenue H, Avenue J and Avenue M, take the Q to Church Avenue, Newkirk Plaza or Kings Highway and transfer to a Manhattan-bound B or Q.
For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Newkirk Plaza, Church Avenue or Prospect Park and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.
Service change ends on a Thursday. This detour has taken into account additional planned service changes.

R Line

No R shuttle train between 36th Street and 59 Street. N trains provide alternate service.
Late nights, 11:45pm, Monday, June 29, to 5am, Thursday, July 2.
R train service operates between 95th Street and 59th Street. Transfer between N and R trains at 59th Street.
