Model Train Club’s The Right Track For Enthusiasts

Brooklyn N-Trak, a club for modular railroad enthusiasts, hosted a two-day, five-hour exhibition last weekend at the Marine Park Salt Marsh Nature Center at 3301 Avenue U.

The club, which holds its meetings for hobbyists at the center on the third Sunday of every month, displayed an elaborate set, about 12 feet long and two feet wide, made up of handmade trains on hand-laid tracks, that can be operated by several people at once. Brooklyn N-Trak, the borough’s only model railroad club, was formed in 2000 and is open to anyone interested in model railroading.
