Missing Senior: Yiu Nam Tsang, 95-Year-Old With Alzheimer’s, Disappeared While Shopping On 86th Street [Update: Found]
Police are turning to the public for help in locating a 95-year-old man with Alzheimer’s who wandered off while shopping on 86th Street Sunday.
Yiu Nam Tsang was last spotted at the discount store located 2235 86th Street on March 22 at around 2:15pm, cops said.
He is described as an Asian male, 5 feet 1 inch, 120 pounds, with gray hair. He was last seen wearing a brown coat, a green shirt, blue jeans, and a brown hat. He was also seen holding a beige bag.
Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s crime stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the crime stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577.
Update [March 26, 3:20pm]: Police have confirmed that Tsang was located at Maimonides Hospital and that he is back home, safe and sound.
