UPDATE 11/17/17: Mr. Hampton has returned home safely

CROWN HEIGHTS – The New York City Police department is asking for help with a Silver Alert, trying to locate 85-year old Edward Hampton, missing since Wednesday, November 15.

Hampton was last seen around 10:40 am at his home at 270 Crown Street, near Nostrand Ave.

Edward Hampton is described as a black man, 5’8″ and about 165 lbs, with brown eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a grey jacket, black pants and white sneakers.

Anyone with information in regards to this missing person is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS or for Spanish 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
