Missing Flatbush Teenager Found After Community Mobilized

Naomi Barker, 14, was reported missing earlier this week and was last seen on February 25 at 8:45am near East 29th street and Glenwood Road, according to NYPD.

Thankfully, she returned home on her own today in safe condition, said police.

Barker’s temporary disappearance caused a stir in the community, with thousands sharing the missing person post and commenting about her whereabouts on social media. Some commenters claimed to have seen her this week near the Broadway Junction subway station.

“After 140,000 views and 1,400 re-posts in less than 48 hours, the missing has been found and is safe,” writes Community Watch App on Facebook.
