Missed The Others? One More Candidate Forum This Sunday At The Flatbush Reformed Church
Seal of the City of New York

If you have some change you’d like made in the neighborhood or city-wide and haven’t been to any candidates forums yet, count yourself lucky, because Brooklyn Congregations United and Assemblywoman Rhoda Jacobs are about to give you another shot.

This Sunday, July 21 from 4-7pm, candidates for mayor, public advocate, comptroller, Brooklyn DA, Brooklyn borough president, and City Council District 40 will gather at the Flatbush Reformed Church (890 Flatbush Avenue on the corner of Church Avenue) to discuss public safety, housing, education, health care, immigration, senior and youth services, and more.

This is set to be the most comprehensive gathering of candidates yet–so get up to speed by reading interviews with Saundra Thomas, John Grant, and Sylvia Kinard, plus our coverage of the April Mayoral Candidates Forum at Temple Isaac and the Flatbush Tenant Coalition City Council Candidate Forum last month. Then attend Sunday’s forum, and be an informed voter who can help change your community for the better!
