Miami Lounge on Cortelyou Road Is For Sale

Miami Lounge, the cafe/bar/hookah lounge at 308 Cortelyou Road, between East 3rd and East 4th Streets, is shuttered and has a for sale sign. Anyone know how long it’s been closed?

It’s a quiet stretch of Cortelyou, but is it too quiet to sustain a small restaurant or bar? A few doors down, Brooklyn’s Finest barber shop and the Chinese take-out place appear to be doing well, but the Mexican restaurant Las Palomas next door also seems to have closed.

If you’re interested in buying the bar, the sign says to call Tony at 516-360-6327.
