Meowmania: Celebrate Cats & Raise Money For Rescue Groups

BUSHWICK – Feline fans and cat ladies should head over to Bushwick on Saturday for the third annual Meowmania fundraising party.

Hosted by two cat rescue groups, Whiskers-A-GoGo and North Brooklyn Cats, as well as the trap-neuter-return program Bushwick Street Cats, all proceeds raised from the event will help these local volunteer organizations rescue more cats from the streets and keep them away from kill shelters.

The feline fun will include: adoptable kitties; cat swag vendors and cat-themed merchandise; flash CATTOOS; selfies with kittens; a “Best Cat-Themed Outfit” contest; a raffle; drinks and vegan snacks; photos with the Creepy Cat Meowmania Mascots; and more.

The “cat party of the year” is happening on Saturday, July 20 at Rubulad in Bushwick from 2pm to 6pm. RSVP to RUBULAD@OUTLOOK.COM for the venue address. Tickets are $10.
