Meet Our Elected Officials at the Flatbush Tenant Coalition Forum
The 2nd Annual Flatbush Tenant Coalition Forum with Elected Officials is happening tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. the Baptist Church of the Redeemer (1921 Cortelyou Rd. at Ocean Avenue).
“We will discuss how we can strengthen rent laws and regulations for tenants,” writes Aga Trojniak, “and how we can hold various housing agencies accountable to enforce existing rent laws that protect tenants.”
A number of politicians will be attending: Councilmembers Jumaane Williams, Mathieu Eugene, and Darlene Mealy; Assemblymember Rhoda Jacobs, District Leaders Ed Powell and Rodneyse Bichotte, and the offices of Assemblymembers Nick Perry and Karim Camara.
