Meet Lee And L.J. Mazzilli And Get A Free Lung Cancer Screening
Meet New York Mets and Yankees legend Lee Mazzilli and Mets prospect L.J. Mazzilli at New York Methodist Hospital‘s Fred L. Mazzilli Lung Cancer Screening Awareness Day on Saturday, November 16 from 11am to 4pm.
There will be free health screenings — including spirometry (lung function), blood pressure and blood sugar, and podiatry and dental screenings — and a presentation on the latest developments in early detection and treatment of lung cancer.
The most likely candidates for free lung cancer screenings are former smokers aged 55-74, with no history of lung cancer and who smoked heavily or moderately for at least 10 years. Registration is required; call 718-780-5367 for more info.
