Man’s Stabbed And Beaten Body Discovered In Park Slope

Early this morning the NYPD report they discovered the body of a twenty-year-old man with a stab wound to his chest and trauma to his body.

Police responded to a 911 call at approximately 4:10am on Monday, June 19, regarding a male assaulted at 355 16th Street (between 7th & 8th Avenues). When they arrived to the scene, they discovered the unconscious and unresponsive victim. He was taken to Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A police representative says the victim had been with a group of people prior to the incident at another location, but no one else was present when cops arrived at the scene. Police do not believe the victim lived at the location where he was found, the rep added.

No arrests have been made yet and the investigation is ongoing. The identity of the victim is being withheld until his family is notified.
