Manhattan Pizza Is For Sale
Manhattan Pizza, which opened last September in the former Lahori Gyro space at 739 Coney Island Avenue (between Cortelyou Road and Avenue C), is currently for sale. The owner is asking $45,000 for the business, which will come with everything necessary to run your own shop–ovens, a walk-in fridge, racks, etc.
There’s also some seating at the front of the shop, so a small amount of customers would be able to eat in as well. Interested parties can see more photos of the shop’s interior here, and call 347-481-5850 or 347-488- 4174 to learn more.
We wonder if the storefront will stay open as a pizza shop, or maybe a different type of eatery with partial equipment changes? Between Junior Bella’s, Lea, and the forthcoming Domino’s, we’ve got no shortage of slices on the west end of Cortelyou/intersection of Coney Island right now–and it’s not really seeming like the similar array of food to Lahori (wings, burgers, everything else under the sun) is working out. But hey, maybe the right kind of pizza just hasn’t come around yet.
What kind of food would you like to see in the space next?
