Man Wanted For Stealing Bike In Sheepshead Bay [Video]

Cops are looking for a man who stole a bike from a backyard shed in Sheepshead Bay last month.

It was reported to the police that on Friday, July, 22, at 5am, the suspected hopped the fence into the backyard of a residential home located near Nostrand Avenue and Avenue X, cops say.

The suspect broke the lock off a shed and removed a Red Alton Compass bicycle. The individual exited the backyard through the side gate and fled the location while riding the bicycle southbound on Haring Street towards Avenue C, according to the NYPD.

The suspect, who was captured in the act on home surveillance footage, is described as a 25-year-old black man, who is 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, with a dark complexion, short black hair, last seen wearing black shorts, gray sneakers and a white t-shirt.
