BEDFORD STUYVESANT – An unidentified city worker is believed to have jumped in front of a Queens-bound C train entering the station at Fulton Street and Utica Avenue this morning, police said.

Witnesses said it appears the man jumped in front of the train at about 9:30 a.m. as the train was entering the station. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s identity has not yet been made available, police say. However, cops at the scene say he was a city employee, though the exact agency was not yet known.

Service on the A line Queens-bound was halted for the entire morning after the incident. Police at the scene were allowing straphangers free passage to take the train towards Manhattan and then get off at Nostrand to take the express back towards Queens.
