Man Stabbed In The Head, Robbed, Then Dumped Out Of SUV In Sheepshead Bay
A man fell prey to a pair of thieves and assailants who submitted the victim to a frightening four-mile ride from Coney Island to Sheepshead Bay.
Soon after a 68-year-old man departed the Pay-O-Matic located at 2323 Mermaid Avenue near West 24th Street, two thieves pulled him into an SUV, the Daily News reported. According to police, the incident took place at approximately 1:30am this morning, Friday, December 30.
After the suspects dragged the man into a gray SUV, they stabbed the victim once in the head as well as three times in his back.
The assailants dumped the victim about four miles away at the corner of Avenue W and Nostrand Avenue, after robbing him of an undisclosed amount of cash.
EMS was called to the scene and took the victim to Lutheran Medical Center. He was treated for non-life threatening wounds, reported the Daily News.
The police do not have a detailed description of the suspects at this time.
