Man Stabbed At Denny’s On Beverley Road: NYPD
A 35-year-old man was stabbed in the neck during a fight in Denny’s at 106 Beverley Road early Wednesday morning, the NYPD said.
The New York Post first reported the incident, which occurred at about 3am yesterday morning, according to police.
According to the Post, the victim, whose name police did not release, “was playing pool inside Denny’s Bar on Beverly Road at around 3 a.m., when he began to argue with Frank Candiano, 49, and Candiano sliced his neck, police said.”
The victim was rushed to Lutheran Medical Center, but he is expected to survive, according to the NYPD.
The Post’s report said the two men knew each other.
Candiano has been arrested and is charged with possession of a weapon, assault, harassment, and reckless endangerment, police said.
