Police are searching for three bandits who may have been involved in a shooting and robbery in Sunset Park last Saturday early morning.
Two men were sitting inside a gray or silver BMW near 47th Street and Third Avenue when an unidentified group approached them at around 2:55 a.m. on Sept. 3, police said.
One of the suspects displayed a gun and removed a gold chain from the first victim, according to police.
The second victim, 26, tried to resist the attack when the crooks went for his gold chain but was shot in his leg instead, the NYPD said.
Emergency responders transported the second victim to a nearby hospital where he is currently in stable condition, cops said.
Police describe the suspects as 20 to 25-years-old and an investigation is still ongoing.
