A man was shot on East 19th Street early Saturday morning, a few blocks from the Beverley Road Q train.

The gunman drove up to an apartment building on East 19th Street between Albermarle Road and Beverley Road around 5:30am on November 12, said cops. The victim was standing outside when the assailant pulled out a gun and shot the man multiple times in the lower back.

The victim was rushed to Kings County hospital and remains in stable condition. He is likely to survive, police said.

A police investigation is ongoing.

This is the third bloody crime reported on this block in just over one year. East 19th Street between Albermarle and Beverley roads is the same block where a 25-year-old man was shot in the chest and killed last October, and where a teenager stabbed his stepfather and left a trail of blood on the sidewalk in July.
