Man Seriously Injured After Being Hit By Car On 65th Street
A 59-year-old man was hit by a car early Sunday morning, leaving him seriously injured.
The accident happened as the man was crossing 65th Street at 18th Avenue at approximately 6:20am. The car, a pickup truck, whipped around the corner and barreled into the pedestrian.
The man, who has not been identified, was brought to Lutheran Hospital in critical condition.
The driver stayed on the scene, and was arrested for failure to yield, according to an NYPD Twitter account.
