Man Responds To Craigslist Ad To Buy iPhone, Is Greeted With Gunpoint Robbery

A man was robbed at gunpoint after responding to a Craiglist ad to sell an iPhone on Wednesday, January 28, losing the phone to the assailants.

Cops are looking for two men, described as black males with skinny builds, between 18 and 25 years old. According to authorities, the 27-year-old victim showed up in front of 1600 Avenue T at 3pm to make the exchange. While he met with one suspect, another came from behind with a firearm and swiped the phone.

Police are distributing photos of the subject that appear to have been taken using the phone, and uploaded to the victim’s online storage account.
