Man Groped Then Threatened Straphanger With A Box Cutter, Says Police

Police are searching for a man they say groped a woman on the subway, then followed her off the train to threaten her and her boyfriend with a box cutter.

On Thursday, July 30 at about 12:30pm, cops say the man shown here, captured on surveillance camera at the station, approached the 22-year-old woman on a southbound F train, touching and grabbing at her thigh. The woman got off the train at the Bay Parkway stop, and police say the suspect followed her and her boyfriend to the platform, threatening them with a box cutter. Thankfully no injuries were reported.

Cops describe the suspect as about six feet tall and around 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, yellow shorts, and white sneakers.
